A circle with smaller circles inside, with circles inside those circles that loop back around to the outside circle

Some documentation of my MFA thesis capstone project exhibited in May 2016.

The project displayed was a direct translation of the thesis  book, which annotates five categorical approaches of the Metamodernist. Five looped videos on the left summarize each category verbally, while on the right (and on display in the gallery), each are shown through a use case—all following a brief to illustrate Metamodernism. In this system, designing to explain a topic becomes a holistic process; a multi-dimensional model of semiotic meaning that looks something like a large circle (signifier; or Metamodernism) with smaller circles inside (signified; or five categories), with circles inside those circles that loop back around to the outside circle (signified/signifier; or categorical example/Metamodernism).
